Who's Watching the "Child Protectors?"

“A 36-year-old Quebec mother has an idea that has been kicked around in this column in the past. She believes child protectors have too much power to be without public overview, and a review board similar to those in police services is needed.” (Ottowa Citizen) She’s right. If what they did to me more than 30 years ago is any indication, she’s MORE than right. They took my two boys from my wife (while I was out of state), charging HER with “criminal child abuse.” They couldn’t prove it, and had NO charges, of any kind, against me. But they kept thwe kids, anyway. They used subterfuge and skullduggery to deny me custody of MY OWN children. Then they lied about the date of the hearing to sever my parental rights until one day I didn’t make it to one of the hearings, at which they severed my parental rights and put my boys up for adoption. This after postponing this meeting time after time when I DID show up This netted them $12,000.00 in federal fees for TWO adoptions. They are even more brazen now, and have even LESS “oversight.” (Equal Justice)

Anon: They're an "agency of government," and are thus not eligible to be checked, according to the government. There is NO "oversight" on their actions. None. They SAY there is, but it is "within agency" and will always find the perpetrators to have been lawful in all things.

The problems with DCF is one power goes to there head, they play God.

2 no one stands up to fight the corrupt and evil of the world.

3 No one is over DCF and DCF investigates DCF. Fox watching the chicken coop that works real well.

I too was lied to about court dates to sever my parental rights. CPS managed to tell the foster parents about my court date, but didn't bother to notify me. I also found that my son that they took into custody was given to the best friend of my case supervisor who desperately wanted a newborn baby boy. I think you'd be interested in my story...

I'm not surprised. That's one of the common scams they use to steal your children. I'm concerned about them abusing children in the NAME of child protection while PRETENDING to protect them. Not only that, their continuing on after finding out there was no abuse takes away time from their ability to find REAL child abusers.
